During this time, I have changed employer twice, we tied the knot, and we moved home from Lewisham to Leichhardt to Morningside to Deception Bay to Hamilton.
When thinking of Norse god, Thor, I imagine thunder and lightening storms. Yesterday morning, in contrast, the journey to the station was gloriously lit by a light orange, pink, pale blue, wispy grey dawn.

As the sky lightened with deeper reds and golds, I took a picture near Petrie station.
At the end of the day, whilst awaiting the arrival of the 4:20 to carry me home, thinking again of Thor, I captured a view of the platform, steel rails, and wall opposite.
This morning I used the double exposure filter to overlay the images in Google Snapseed to create the top image. I like the result.
The rising sun heralds the arrival and departure of Brisbane bound commuters. Few appear to take notice of it or the surrounds.

Serpentine Saltwater Creek undulates through the North Lakes Environmental Reserve behind the train station towards Moreton Bay. It often breaks free of its banks.

The water results in a lush wetland ecosystem; home to gum trees, grasses, insects, 29 species of native birds, reptiles, eastern grey kangaroos, possums, and koalas.
Sydney Tower, aka Centrepoint, shimmers gold as the rising sun illuminates the city. As the Autumn sun sets the Tower appears to be etched into the sky. Taken from Catalina Restaurant, Rose Bay, Sydney, Australia.
