Purple November 9, 2014 / Robert Over the last few weeks I’ve been admiring the regal colour of the flowers of the jacaranda trees. This one is located on the upper campus of UNSW, Sydney, Australia. One of the Faculty of Medicine’s buildings provides contrast in colour and form. The one tree I really miss about Sydney is the Jacaranda, as they don’t grow here in the upper mountains….. Reply
Wow, I have not seen one for the last 20 years … I have fond memories from my childhood when I used to play at my grandmother’s home in my homeland in the pampas, and she had one Jacaranda in the back garden! Beautiful photo and memories. Adrián Reply
